Nicola graduated from Queen Mary, University of London in December 2012 with a Ph.D in experimental organic semiconductor physics.

Since then she has worked as a researcher, and to support researchers.

In her spare time she gets involved with science communication and public engagement with research.

Nicola has just moved back to her home county of Kent, and is currently making the transition out of academia.

Nicola is exceptionally clever, if you want to know how clever, ask her mum.

Nicola has a great talent for drawing stick men, and can chop onions very finely.
